For example, all spare batteries should be stored together in one box, in one place, so that everyone knows where it is. Likewise everything from spare toilet tissue and kitchen towel to extra sponges, tea cloths or matches. However, when it comes to your cleaning solutions, keep these near to where they will be used. In other words, bathroom cleaners need to be in the bathroom, washing tabs near the washing machine and so on. It may seem obvious, but so often people have only one of each cleaner type, and they are all stored together, often in the kitchen. Give yourself a break. This is the one item you are allowed to purchase multiples of! After all, you won’t want to give your bathroom mirror a quick polish after you’ve brushed your teeth if you first have to troop downstairs to retrieve the correct solution. Finally, invest in nice cloths and sparkly scrubbers so they look pretty too. Sounds silly? It’s not. Every time you open a drawer or cupboard, no matter what you’re looking for, it’ll boost your mood to see things that you consider attractive, and that applies to your cleaning equipment too.
